Alex completed his Bachelor’s in Kinesiology Exercise Physiology with Distinction at the University of Calgary in 2011. Later Alex went on to complete his Master’s of Physiotherapy at the University of Alberta in 2013. He is certified in IMS (Dry Needling), is working towards his diploma in Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy and is always pursuing more courses to improve his clinical practice.
Alex grew up playing competitive hockey and as many other sports as he could. This passion for competition and physical exertion brought him into the field of fitness during his Undergraduate schooling, where he began training relentlessly in the gym and working as a Personal Trainer. Now, he continues to enjoy hockey, skiing, golfing and working out. In the past few years he has also developed a new obsession with running. Alex’s rehabilitation from many of his own various injuries allows him to bring a firsthand understanding of pain and dysfunction to the clinic.
● Training related acute and overuse injuries
● General everyday aches
● Pain from desk jobs
● Age related dysfunction
● Motor vehicle accidents and other post trauma
I went here after i was rear ended in early June. The process was nearly two and a half months but Alex, the therapist i was assigned, helped me once a week for the two months. He was very patient and understood that the injury caused was very unpredictable and flares up at weird times. I have to say I was very happy with the outcome of the therapy and how patient he was with the whole process. Three months after my accident i feel great and it's all thanks to Alex and Nose Creek Physio! I would highly recommend Nose Creek to anyone who has been involved in a collision.xSkaterGuyx1
