REGISTERED ACUPUNCTURIST, TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE DOCTOR, MEng

Dr. Eileen Wei has a unique background covering both advanced information technology and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). She holds a Master’s degree in Engineering, and has worked as a software engineer in major companies including Nortel and Intel. She studied acupuncture and Chinese Medicine with recognized TCM masters from China and US, and is a Registered Acupuncturist with the College of Acupuncturist of Alberta.

Traditional Chinese Medicine focuses on activating the body’s self-healing ability, encouraging a harmonious and balanced life. As the patient’s health improves, it is often possible to reduce medications under proper medical supervision.

Conditions which Eileen has helped with include:

Eileen cares deeply about the environment and is committed to a simple, organic lifestyle. Through many years of dedicated practice of yoga and meditation she has found great peace and joy, which she seeks to share with her patients. She is a mother of three wonderful children and a sponsor of five baby elephants in Kenya — an extended family indeed! Inspired to make the world a better place, she seeks to help everyone she encounters become healthier and happier.
