Madelyne's academic journey began in St. Albert, Alberta, where she nurtured her passion for understanding the human mind, leading her to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Psychology, from MacEwan University. Her thirst for knowledge and dedication to her craft led her to further her education, culminating in a Masters of Physical Therapy from the prestigious University of Alberta in Edmonton.
Throughout her life, Madelyne has been passionate about sports and outdoor activities. She played competitive volleyball throughout primary and high school. Once University started, Madelyne shifted her focus from volleyball and began exploring her passions for hiking, climbing, snowboarding, running, and strength training.
Madelyne is passionate about using her knowledge of biomechanics and strength training to help rehabilitate her patients. She uses hands-on techniques to adjunct therapeutic exercises. She is dedicated to a patient-centred approach and works with patients to find personalized interventions that best suit their lives and goals—from pain reduction to performance. Madelyne guides her practice with evidence-based approaches and is committed to lifelong learning and staying up to date with the best current approaches to rehabilitation.
