Radek Wiechecki graduated from the University of Alberta with a Master of Physical Therapy in 2021. He also holds two degrees from the University of Victoria in Bachelor of Science in Biology and Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. He holds certificates in The McGill Method level 1, 2, and 3, and is certified in Functional Movement Systems (FMS). Clinically, Radek is passionate about the biomechanics and injury of the shoulder, hip, and spine, and their effects on compensation strategies within the kinetic chain. His approach to rehabilitation includes hands-on manual therapy to create a window of opportunity for mastering therapeutic exercise. He is dedicated to strategic and personalized therapeutic exercise prescription to return you to work, play, and life-proofs your body from future injury. His goal is to coach you to be an expert in your own body and health. Radek believes in research and evidence-based approaches to rehabilitation to ensure the most effective and quickest recovery possible.
Outside of the clinic, Radek has dedicated himself to maintaining a daily running streak since May 6, 2019. On the weekends you can find him either adventure riding his motorcycle in the mountains or skiing the Albertan slopes. His other hobbies include soccer, hockey, basketball, golf, powerlifting, photography, and learning new sports and skills.
